Our Town Government Facilities Adjust Hours for Thursday, Feb. 20 Due to Winter Weather

Our Town is currently under a winter weather advisory. Due to forecasted precipitation mixed with freezing temperatures and the potential for slick roads, the Our Town Municipal Office will operate on a four-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 20, opening at 12 p.m. This decision prioritizes the safety of our employees and the residents we serve.

  • All Library branches will open at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20. The library’s digital resources are always available online.

  • All Transportation services are canceled. Riders may leave reservation requests on the 24-hour voicemail.

  • The Our Town landfill and all waste and recycling centers will open at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20. 

  • All home deliveries in the Senior Nutrition program are canceled on Thursday, Feb. 20, and congregate meal sites are closed. Clients have been provided shelf- stable meals to have available in case of emergency cancelations.

  • The Register of Deeds office will open at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20. 

All other Our Town services not specifically listed above will open to the public beginning at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20. Essential public safety services remain operational around the clock, including the Police Department and Emergency Services teams.
