Our Town Property Tax Payments Due Soon

As the new year approaches, Our Town officials are reminding residents that January 6, 2025, is the last day to pay this year’s property tax bills without interest.  

After this date, late payments will be subject to interest charges. Unpaid bills may be listed in the newspaper and become subject to collections measures, including possible foreclosure. 

Property tax bills are based on the January 2024 value of property and tax rates set by County and municipal officials in June.  

While the original due date for these bills was September 1, taxpayers are given a grace period to pay before incurring interest.  

For payment, residents can access their records through the Our Town website to pay securely with a credit or debit card.  

Payments can also be made by mail (postmarked by January 6, 2025) or in person at the Cabarrus County Tax Administration Office at 65 Church Street South, Concord.
